Young people as Holocaust survivors – We can say from experience that these dialogues are often deep and formative for both sides.

Hearing the personal history directly from the respective person is often more impressive for young people than reading the data in a history book. The encounters enable them to take on new perspectives.

Holocaust survivors are often very happy when they see young people getting involved and voluntarily dealing with the past. This gives hope, shows respect and appreciation for their personal history and sets a strong sign for a more positive future.
